Built on Questions, Not Assumptions
We started fivolarisape in 2018 because we kept seeing the same pattern. People working hard, earning decent money, but somehow always feeling behind. Not from lack of effort. From lack of clarity.
Financial advice felt inaccessible or overly complicated. So we built something different. A place where accountability meets practical method, where real conversations replace jargon.
How We Got Here
Every step taught us something about what people actually need when they're trying to take control of their finances.
First Workshops
Started with twelve people in a borrowed office space. No fancy slides, just whiteboards and honest conversations about tracking expenses. Half of them told us afterward they'd never actually looked at their full financial picture before.
Method Refinement
After working with over 200 individuals and small business owners, we realized our accountability framework needed more flexibility. Not everyone's financial situation fits the same template. We rebuilt our approach from the ground up.
Expanding Reach
Opened our Ashmore location to provide in-person consultations alongside our established online programs. Sometimes a face-to-face conversation makes all the difference when you're working through complicated financial patterns.
Real Conversations
We don't talk down to anyone or pretend finance is more complicated than it needs to be. You bring your questions, we bring honest answers. Sometimes that means saying we don't know something and figuring it out together.
Practical Over Perfect
Your budget doesn't need to look like a spreadsheet masterpiece. It needs to work for how you actually live. We focus on systems you'll stick with, not theoretical ideals that fall apart after two weeks.
Progress, Not Pressure
Financial transformation doesn't happen overnight. We measure success in sustainable habits, not dramatic overhauls. Small consistent changes beat grand declarations that fade by next month.
Community Matters
Learning alongside others who understand the struggle makes a difference. Our group sessions create space for shared experiences and mutual support. You're not figuring this out alone.
Who You'll Work With
We're a small team with varied backgrounds. What connects us is a shared belief that financial clarity shouldn't be a luxury reserved for people who already have money figured out.
Callum Bannister
Lead Financial Educator
Spent fifteen years in corporate banking before realizing he hated the culture but loved helping people understand money. Left in 2017 to build something more human. Still drinks too much coffee and occasionally misses the free pens.
Freya Lindqvist
Accountability Coach
Former small business owner who learned financial management the hard way. Now helps others avoid the mistakes she made when she was running a design studio on hope and optimism. Known for asking uncomfortable but necessary questions.
How We Actually Work
Our method isn't revolutionary. It's just honest, structured, and adaptable to real life.
Start With Reality
We look at where you actually are, not where you think you should be. No judgment about past decisions. Just an honest assessment of current patterns and what's working or not working in your financial life right now.
Build Simple Systems
Complicated tracking fails. We help you set up straightforward accountability structures that fit your actual routine. If it takes more than ten minutes a week to maintain, it's probably too complex to stick with long-term.
Regular Check-Ins
Accountability works through consistency. Whether it's group sessions or individual consultations, regular touchpoints keep you moving forward. We adjust the approach as your situation evolves throughout the year.
Ready to Get Started?
Our next group program begins in September 2025. Individual consultations are available year-round, though spots fill up quickly during tax season.
